Rebecca Rueter
Reiki Master, Usui Shiki Ryoho
Rebecca first received Reiki after breaking her foot in June 1985. Later that summer she completed her First Degree Reiki training and began trading treatments with friends. After a few years of sharing Reiki with family & friends, she completed her Second Degree training.
In December 1988, she began her path of Reiki Master with Phyllis Furumoto, Grand Master & Lineage Bearer of Usui Shiki Ryoho (1948 – 2019).
Rebecca has been a member of The Reiki Alliance since 1989 where she currently serves as editor of their quarterly newsletter, Just for Today. She continues to learn from her students, clients, peers, and teachers on the lifelong path of Reiki.
Rebecca’s life experiences include consensus facilitation, marketing, team management, facilitating writing groups, and parenting. Rebecca holds an M.A. in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University and a B.S. from Indiana University.
